Aneurysm is defined as focal vessel diameter >=1.5 times the adjacent normal vessel diameter.

Thoracic aorta maximal diameter: Normal, up to 4 cm. Dilated, 4-5 cm. Aneurysmal, >=5 cm.

Suprarenal abdominal aorta maximal diameter: Normal, up to 3 cm. Dilated, 3-4 cm. Aneurysmal, >=4 cm.

Infrarenal abdominal aorta maximal diameter: Normal, up to 2 cm. Dilated, 2-3 cm. Aneurysmal, >=3 cm.

Iliac artery aneurysm: >=2.5 cm in diameter.

There is no white paper guidance for thoracic aortic aneurysm so far.
